Add new Employee/Contractor

You can add Employees/Contractors to your ASSA system in 2 different ways:
  1. One at a time
  2. Upload in bulk

One at a time
  1. Open the ASSA website
  2. Login with your credentials
  3. On the top row, highlight “MY TEAM”
  4. Select “MY PEOPLE”
  5. Select “ADD PEOPLE
  6. The form that is displayed allows you to add employees or contractors to your system
    1. Note All fields are required
    2. If an induction must be completed by a certain date select the check box “Set Course to be completed” and select the date in the following field
  7. Once you have completed all fields select “1. Add Inductee to the list”
  8. Once the new Employee/Contractors name appears on the right you can then add more employees/contractors by filling in all fields again.

  9. When all new Employees/Contractors have been added to the list select “2. Add/Invite Listed People” 

  10. This will add the Employee/Contractor to your system and send them the selected induction course.



Upload in bulk:
  1. Follow steps 1-5 above

  2. Select “Upload TAB delimited TXT Data File (Max 1Mb)"

  3. In your choice of spreadsheet application create a new spreadsheet with the column headers as listed below

  4. Save as: TAB Delimited .txt

  5. Upload this file

  1. Microsoft Excel can save files as TAB delimited directly however Google Sheets and Apple Numbers require an additional step (See note below)
  1. Microsoft Office Excel
  2. Google Sheets
  3. Apple Numbers
Note: for Google Sheets and Apple Numbers
Once the .tsv file is downloaded change the file extension from “.tsv” to “.txt"

Spreadsheet Column Headers (Example Below)

"first" - First Name

"last" - Last Name

"email" - Valid Email Address (REQUIRED)

"emptype" -    Employee Type – ‘employee’ or ‘contractor’ 

“site” (OPTIONAL) Note: If part of a multi-site account, this can be set to the appropriate account number (contact us for details) 

“company” - OPTIONAL – if left blank, the details of the user uploading the file will be used

“phone” - Phone Number (OPTIONAL)

“mobile” - Mobile Number (OPTIONAL)

“title” - Mr, Mrs, etc. (OPTIONAL)

 

All of the following fields are OPTIONAL but if left blank the details of the user uploading the file will be used instead

“street1” - Street Address Line 1 – OPTIONAL

“street2” - Street Address Line 2 – OPTIONAL 

“street3” - Street Address Line 3  – OPTIONAL

“city” - City – OPTIONAL 

“state” - State – OPTIONAL 

“pcode” - Post Code – OPTIONAL 

“paddress” - Postal Address – OPTIONAL 

“pcity” - Postal City – OPTIONAL 

“pstate” - Postal State – OPTIONAL 

“ppcode” - Postal Post Code – OPTIONAL

If there is an error uploading the document please check the following
  1. File Type has been saved as: TAB Delimited
  2. Columns for Spreadsheet
  3. Maximum file size: 1 Megabyte

You can now:
  1. Check the completion status of an induction
