Add image or screenshot to a course

There may be cases where you want to include images stored on your computer in your course material.

  1. Open the topic editor by following these steps:
    • Highlight “MY TEAM”>“MY COURSES"

       

    • Select the type of course you would like to add content to (INDUCTION or TRAINING)
    • Select the course in the left column
    • Locate the topic on the right
    • Select the edit icon (pencil) to the right of the topic name

    If the topic name does not have a pencil it may be a Generic ASSA topic - You will need to duplicate this before you can edit it 
    OR 
    It is linked from another course - Update the original and that change will apply here

  2. In the topic editor select where you would like to insert the image
  3. Select “Insert" tab 


     
  4. Select the image icon
  5. In the dialog that appears select the image to insert

    If you need to upload a new Image select "Upload">"Select"
    Locate the image on you computer and select "Open"
    Note:
    -Maximum file size: 976.56KB
    -File Type/extensions supported: .gif, .xbm, .xpm, .png, .ief, .jpg, .jpe, .jpeg, .tiff, .tif, .rgb, .g3f, .xwd, .pict, .ppm, .pgm, .pbm, .pnm, .bmp, .ras, .pcd, .cgm, .mil, .cal, .fif, .dsf, .cmx, .wi, .dwg, .dxf, .svf
    At the bottom of the upload window click "Upload"

  6. You can then use the “Image Editor" if you need to modify or crop the image
  7. Once the upload and editing is complete select “Insert” in the bottom right corner
